The Islander has upgraded itself very nicely. Although a little pricey, it is worth what you pay and extremely enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and recommend it to others.
The room was clean, check-in was expedient, and the grounds were well maintained. The personnel, upon interaction, were friendly and helpful.

The best thing about the Islander is the location, one of the few places you can stay in the Keys that is not on the noisy highway. The worst thing about the Islander, at least in June, is that they have may be having one or even several wedding...
The guest services were amazing,wonderful hospitality!! The room was big and we loved the screened in patio and easy access kitchen...So much beach front!..Within walking distance Restaraunts.....Free continental breakfast had alot to choose from......
