Very nice hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Elevators were a generous size and quite a few of them. Security was plentiful. Rooms were tastefully decorated in beige, yellow, gold, light blue and light green. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were quality and soft, the down duvet between the sheet and comforter was a very nice touch. The plasma tv had a great picture. The phones had a touch screen - very cool. The tables and desk had marble tops. The bathrooms were roomy and clean. Shampoo, conditioner and lotion were a little larger sized than many hotels I've been to. The coffee pot is for single sized servings.
A couple of things that annoyed me, security knocked on our door and woke us up at 5:45 a.m. She announced "Security" and proceeded to the next room without waiting for an answer. Not sure what the purpose of that was. We also put the "do not disturb" tab on the door and housekeeping knocked and peeked in anyway! I also didn't like the fact that I could hear the conversation taking place in the next room near the adjoining door. Maybe they were just hard of hearing and talking loudly, I'm not sure.
The casino was nice, not too crowded. The drink servers passed by frequently. Their uniforms were not in the best taste however, the service was very good.
We are at the buffet for one dinner and one lunch. The buffet was excellent! Plenty of variety and spread out well. The new C & G grill looked real nice and smelled like grilled steaks, mmmm. We ate at Emerils one night. The service was excellent, the food was excellent, but overpriced for the serving portions. (nearly $200.00 for 3 people) (3 entrees, 2 salads, 1 glass of wine and 1 dessert)
The parking was close by considering it was across the street. They had a tour van that brought us and our luggage to the front door of the hotel. Nice Christmas decorations.
All in all an excellent place to visit. I highly recommend it.
