I work for a company that sends us (a two man team) all over the US, Canada, and the Caribbean. The company typically rents us two bedroom condominiums or apartments, as we spend extended periods in different places, and we need space in which to...

I must say I did not expect much when I booked my trip. This all changed the moment I opened the door to my one bedroom suite. It was beautiful. The resort was tranquil and the staff friendly. There is a free shuttle from the hotel to and from the...
42 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We just stayed three nights four days at Island Seas although the beach is clean, water is warm the hotel falls short in most areas. Our first night having to wait till 4pm to get a room and expecting it to be on the ocean side our room overlooked the canal, the building itself was in good shape although you could see tiles starting to break, railings that had one bolt instead of four, but paint and hardware looked new and clean. That night when getting ready for bed we realized only one blanket for two beds and only two bath towels in a one bedroom kitchen suite. That night we felt the mattress creek and groan from our movements felt like the main bed was going to fall apart seemed bed had seen better days some years ago. In the morning we where unable to shower as taps just dribbled water just enough to brush our teeth and this went on each day and evening. The pool being freezing cold was dirty sand all over the bottom I was fetching cigarette butts, plastic cups from the pool daily, the hot tub was just pool warm and clouded over so bad its bottom also lined with sand. I had wanted to take kids on glass bottom boats so went to book pamphlet said boat went out twice a day and this being the first week of spring break I wanted to make sure I was able to get on second to last day. At booking I was told there was not enough interest in tour so it was only going out once at 2pm and to show up at 1:45pm. Upon arrival across the street to launch we where told boat was cancelled due to weather being to rough although I watched them take a full boat Parasailing as we arrived, looks like not enough interest in glass bottom boat and they cancelled. I never did see that tour go out. So they sent me back across the street for a refund when I asked the booking lady she said we had to go back to the launch area as she did the refunds, seems nobody at this resort knows whats going on! Coconuts the outdoor restaurant and bar food was good when you received it, even empty orders took 45+ minutes, and was usually served by a grumpy looking waitress. Seems unless you where a regular here you where treated as second class, and just wait until the pushy sales for time share. We had sat through a time share the week earlier in Orlando and felt great no pressure was put on us to buy and we thanked the salesman for a great presentation and went on our way, don't expect that here. Again resort on the outside looks new but seems no regular maintenance to keep it clean or repair broken tiles and I have posted the picture of the exposed live wires from the walkway lighting fixture that was broken for most of our stay with wires hanging out, never was fixed when we left. We will go back to Freeport but not this overrated hotel.

Okay
The hotel was okay, but when we booked our vacation, we thought we were staying at an ocean-front hotel. The main hotel is ocean-front, but there was no mention of this other section we got stuck in. I probably could have accepted not being in the ...

They have horrible customer service, and they won't actually have most of the amenities that will be advertised to you. They will try to take advantage of you in every way possible (e.g., selling you time shares you don't want). You might get a decent rate for this place, but you'll pay for it for the rest of your whole vacation.
