Man Mo Temple, one of the oldest in the area, contains images of the God of Literature and the God of War, wooden sedan chairs, a large bronze bell and colorful interior and exterior decoration. The most unusual feature of the temple is the large bell- shaped coils of incense suspended from the ceiling. Burned by devotees, the incense coils can burn for several days, spreading a fragrant haze throughout the temple. .

This is a modern hotel in the western part of Hong Kong Island. Stayed there in January 2006, for 3 days. Rooms are clean, but somewhat small (though not tiny), and staff was very friendly. Paid less than $90 per night. This hotel is sometimes available for around US$60-$70 per night, but is a good deal up to $120. When I go to Hong Kong, this is one of the hotels I usually consider.
One potential downside of this hotel for some travelers is the location. This hotel is about a 10 minute walk or streetcar ride beyond the westernmost subway station (Sheung Wan) on Hong Kong Island. Moderately close to Hong Kong University, and close to the Macau Ferry terminal. Nice, lively, and typical HK neighborhood, with some OK restaurants and very few tourists. Unfortunately no free internet.
Also, compare to Hotel Jen, which is nearby and similar in quality and price.
