We were a party of ten people from the UK staying for two weeks here.
On our arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a beautiful lobby area which smelt very strongly of vanilla. This was just about the best part of the hotel!
When we got to our room (block13) it was like an old fashioned motel. There was mold growing out of the wallpaper in the shower, moldy shower curtain, pubic hairs on the floor of bathroom, a chipped glass coffee pot and very dirty.
The maids were left tips every day but didn't clean or hoover our dirty room and it was apparent that they had been sifting through our belongings daily!
After three or four days there, we had our laptop computer stolen from our room and camera, next door's room had a camera stolen and new shaver aslo by the cleaner! (the lock on the door was checked and the only person who had been in our room was the cleaner!)
After reporting this to police and security (who were apologetic) we were promised that they would contact us about the theft).
They didn't ever contact us and we chased up the info daily.
A week later the same cleaner was still cleaning people's rooms after stealing our laptop and other items.
It just got worse,
Into our second week, about 10 SUV's turned up at the hotel and were parked outside our rooms in the car park. Their generator's were rumbling away ALL NIGHT and we were woken by their dogs outside their SUV's in make - shift cages night after night. The answer from reception was "there's a dog show on around the corner, we can't do anything about it!!"
This got worse still. There was dirty laundry left outside our rooms for 3days and we got back after one day at the parks to find all of our three rooms had had our credit card style locks changed and we couldn't get in our rooms!
The door handle became loose on the outside of our door, so i reported it to maintenance three times and I gave up in the end, they were just ignoring it and it was hanging off when we left.
Outside my sister's room, three doors up there was a woman stood outside, she told us that she'd been in my sisters room because she was given a key for it!!
She realised that it was occupied and waited outside!
Then all ten of us had to walk back around to the lobby area to get our new cards to get back in our room!!
As we were about to leave the hotel, we asked to speak to a manager to aire our greivances. A lady called Casey MCcanless listened to our problems and said she wasn't aware of our problems and security hadn't told her.
With our problems, she agree't to reimburse the cost of two of our three rooms and compensate us for our losses also.
We agree'd to this, but later found out that she had just told us that to keep us quiet! She LIED TO US and not a penny has been transferred into our accounts for the promised amount and she is ignoring all of our emails now! What a shambles!
The one good part of the Hotel is the main swimming pool which has a waterfall in it and it is boiling hot! That's the only good point I found about this disgusting hotel.
I wouldn't stay here ever again and we are all appalled by the treatment and LIES of a manager to our faces.
This hotel is an absolute shambles and should be knocked down and rebuilt.
