I made reservations upon arrival and they were overbooked.
I am
not likely
to return to the International Plaza Resort and Spa.
I
would not recommend it to
friends.

Dirty, disgusting rooms!

We spent two unfortunate nights in this dirt trapped hotel calling itself by such a glorious sounding name. The shower did not drain, which of course, made it totally gross and had one wondering if they would contract athlete's foot. I would not recommend this trap to my worst enemy!

My family and I stayed at this disgusting hotel for two nights and three days. We had to move to a second room, because the first room had hair all over the bathroom and the sheets, and the floor was very dirty, I didn't even want my dogs walking on it.
Our second room was a little better, except the toilet wouldn't flush. We had to wait for maintenance to fix it for about an hour (my husband had to lift the lid and continue to fix it for the remainder of the weekend). This hotel was an overpriced, dirty, Motel 6. Don't stay here.

A dumpster with running water

Staying here was like staying in a third world country. The first room we got had pee stains all over the carpet, fire ants, hair in the bed and bathroom, and reeked of mildew and cat/dog urine.
They moved us to another room that was slightly cleaner, but still had hair all over the place and the toilet did not work. We were told by the lousy hotel staff that they would move our rates down from $139.00 to $99.00. This turned out to be a lie and told us to contact Orbitz if we had any more problems. Do your family a favor and please do not stay at this hotel. We feel very ripped off and would love for this dump to go out of business.

My conference was located at this hotel so everything was very convenient. You should expect some delays in the restaurant during lunchtime. It might be better to just get room service to avoid getting to the afternoon conference session late.
This hotel made me feel welcome: I was greeted with smiles. The desk clerk made me feel she was glad I was there.
I am
very likely

I had to change rooms three times because of mold and bug problems. The sheets were dirty, the bathroom was horrid and I was disgusted by the carpet. I have never been in a hotel that was this unkempt and rundown in all of my international travels.

The room smelled, the shower was lukewarm at best, the rugs were dirty, the closets didn't open and the headboard fell off the wall. At least Motel 6 will keep the light on for me!

The location was great. It's very close to the civic center. I was pleased with the comfort and service. I would suggest going to a grocery store before heading to the hotel because the snacks available were expensive, old, and not worth purchasing.
This hotel made me feel relaxed: There were plenty of seating areas around the pool underneath fans so that you were kept cool despite the heat and humidity.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the International Plaza Resort and Spa.
I
might recommend it to
friends.

There is a major difference in the rooms there. The rooms in the tower are much nicer than where I stayed. The room was dirty. The doors stuck and had trouble closing. There was mildew or something in the corners and bugs in the tub in the mornings. It was just not what I expected in a hotel room.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the International Plaza Resort and Spa.
I
would not recommend it to

This was, by far, the nicest Sheraton that my wife and I have stayed at. The suite had everything one could want and was impeccably cleaned. The pool, waterfall, and hot tubs remained open until one a.m. and were fantastic.
This hotel made me feel extravagent: This is more than my wife and I normally spend per night for a room but it was well worth it. It was convenient to the Convention Center.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the International Plaza Resort and Spa.
I
would definitely recommend it to

It was not a good hotel for the price. It was way too expensive with services that most travelers don't need. It was a wealthy style hotel.

not likely

I was there for three nights, my air conditioning unit did not work and I was calling the staff every night. They could not get it to work and they were booked. The only thing they offered me was a gift box with a cookie, a bag of chips, a bottle of water and a multigrain bar. This was at the end of June and it was extremely hot.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the International Plaza Resort and Spa.
I
might recommend it to

The rooms were a mess when we checked in. The elevators are very scary and smell of mildew and mold. Their room service is poor, and security is on the low side. Everything in the gift shop and deli/pizza hut is overpriced! The lobby smells like moth balls. The corridors are poorly lit. The only thing good at the hotel is the location.

The service at this hotel was the worst I have ever had. I had to call each day for either towels, clean sheets or wash cloths. The tub was not cleaned on a daily basis. I had to move two times before I was put in a room that was acceptable. Even though the rooms in the tower are nicer than the rooms in the "pods", the service was not any better. When you called the front desk, many times you did not get any answer.
