Interlaken Inn Resort

We recently stayed for a long weekend and had a enjoyable and relaxing weekend which was exactly what we wanted. We had massages at the spa (the best I have had in a long time!) and I had a pedicure. All the staff at the hotel, spa and restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. We had dinner at Morgan's one night and that was very good. We were surprised at how much food we good. More then enough! Overall, it was an nice trip and we would go back again.

They set up a weekend for a large party with many rooms and a catered dinner. Unfortunately, they ignored food allergies that I was very specific about. The food was mediocre and not what was ordered.

I had a very nice experience at the Interlaken Inn. Their staff was quite nice, and the rooms were clean and very pleasant. The restaurant (I don't recall the name) was exceptional. Overall, I had a really nice time here.

Please think twice about utilizing this property! I don't have enough space here to explain how horrible my experience was in dealing with the employees and management at the Interlaken.

I had booked my wedding here for September 2006. It took (no exaggeration) seven tries and six months to receive a correct written contract after the Interlaken took my deposit. The salesperson who originally booked my wedding left the hotel and after that point, it took two weeks to get phone calls or e-mails returned. All of the agreements that were made verbally were no longer honored, including the agreement that all deposits would be transferable in the case that the event be canceled. When my fiancée walked out on the wedding four months prior, the General Manager told me that he was the "biggest loser" in all of this because he wouldn't be receiving the profit he expected that day.

I have worked in hotels for eight years and am currently a meeting planner who travels to hotels approximately 1-2 times per month. I have never seen such poor service as I did at the Interlaken Inn!

For $200 a night, I expected much better. First of all, the "heated pool" was not heated at all, and looked like it had not been cleaned in ages, it had chipped paint and mildew. It was really gross. The breakfast buffet really sucked, soggy eggs, barely cooked pancakes, and for $9 a head, it was not a bargain at all. They also advertised a "game room", which turned out to be a room with a few board games in it, what a joke.
