It had beautiful location and view. The internet access was expensive therefore prohibitive.

This hotel does not deserve to be rated a five star hotel, as it does not deliver the customer five star service and caters to groups rather than the individual traveler. We paid a hefty price to gather at the Intercontinental to be with out of town family, yet neither dining room was open on either night of the weekend due to weddings. Consequently, we were relegated to a dark corner of the bar to share our family dinner.

There are extra charges for most everything, including $11 for an internet connection and the hotel charges $21/day to use the public parking facility, whereas anyone else parking in this public facility pays $17.

Paying $200-250/ night at this hotel does not get you a morning newspaper, continental breakfast, ready made coffee, or parking. The premises was clean, well decorated, and the staff was friendly.

The rate charged and the service provided was not a good value. Our reservation was lost and my bill had someone else's name and address listed. The error was not corrected when the desk was notified upon check in.

Do not tell the hotel upon check-in, that you are parking a car in the garage associated with the facility. The hotel charges guests $21 a day to park. The garage will charge you $17 a day to park.

Marriott is an excellent chain - high quality service and facilities.
