A friend recommended we stay at the Inn on the Alameda for its close proximity to everything. We loved the place. It's not too big and the staff was attentive. It truly is centrally located to shopping, restaurants and galleries. Santa Fe is a fun...

I booked my RSV in feb. Today 6/1/08 Itried to cancel one night of my two night RSV..They said I couln't that it was a 2 night mim,. I have all receipts etc. from the hotel with their cancelation policy... which states room rsv must be cancelled within 72 hrs, also that Holidays and Special Events and peak periods requie a 2 week otcice prior to arrival to receive a depost refund. My depost was one night stayt so I am paid up. The Mgr. "DANIEL" laughed and said I couldSEE if the hotel could book that cancelled night...If not I would Hvae to pay...Nothing in writing has come expalining this new rule. Bottom line is they care about $$ more therepeat cusomers. Oh...I live here in Santa Fe for 27 yrs...Thought this was supposed to be a GREAT hotel...NOT. I have since Rsv hotel La Posada down the street...They have meet everything I want in a hotel...DO NOT BOOK!!!

We stay in Santa Fe often and almost always stay at the Inn. It is quiet and charming and an easy walk to the Plaza and Canyon Road. Breakfast buffet has the best selection of pastries, filled croissants, and fresh fruit. Service is attentive...
