We were visiting Kohler to play the fancy golf courses there (which were amazing) and opted for the less expensive Inn on Woodlake vs. the American Club. Based on the name and the photos on the official site, I expected it to have the same high-end feel as the American Club. I was disappointed to find that it was basically a cookie-cutter hotel, located in a strip mall. I'd compare it to a Courtyard by Marriott, but at double to triple the price.

Otherwise, the room was clean and adequate, it just didn't meet my expectations and others should be aware of this before booking.
