female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
I was there for two nights ~ the carpet and bathroom floors were filthy, the bedding had hairs in it (I WISH I were exaggerating), wall outlets were loose, the bathroom (in addition to being tiny) had smears on the shower wall, the toilet and floor had pubic hairs on them, the tub was dirty, the shelving was dirty, the toilet paper and hair dryer holders were coming off of the walls, as was the towel rack on the back tub wall. Staff at the front desk (upon check-in) were very rude and unhelpful (it almost seemed deliberate - and that was without any complaints registered on my part)... the ONLY bright spots were the desk staff (different crew - the old woman was gone for the day), who were very personable and helpful, and the concierge - who was equally friendly and accomodating.

this hotel was dirty, small, and the hallways had a horrible odor. There was no room to sit on the toilet without hitting your knees on the sink. We had requested an upgrade and they put us on a higher floor with the EXACT same room-minus a dresser.

I felt the location was the best thing about this facility. The room was very small, a little dirty in the bathroom and the carpeting by the bed was a little run down. The window was too small. The television did have very good reception and it did

Great central location, just off North Michigan Avenue about a block from the bridge. The (single) rooms are small, but nice. Bathrooms are very small, if you care about that (I don't). It's well maintained and, yes, I'd stay there again.

I have traveled a lot and stayed in broad range of hotels. Inn of Chicago is modest property, but offers a fantastic location - block from Mag Mile - for those who want to experience the heart of the city, yet on budget.

They gave away our queen bed on Valentine's day and gave us two doubles instead. The front desk people were rude every time we had to deal with them (which was often). They offered us a "King suite" for our second night since they messed up the...

We had a one night (Saturday) stay at the Inn of Chicago. The hotel is very centerally located, 1/2 block off Michigan Ave. Easy walking to shopping, Navy Pier, Lake Michigan and MilIenium/Grant Park. It is less than a $10 cab ride (tip included) ...

Horrible
I cannot recommend this hotel. Spend the extra money on something nicer. The room was not very clean when we checked in, plus the bathroom was so small. Do not let these people hold your bags. The only plus was that the location was pretty good...
