Horrible
What was supposed to be a promised "quiet" stay turned into a nerve-shattering experience when, both mornings, I was woken up shortly after 8 a.m. to the sounds of jack hammers and pick axes outside my door. This went on all day for one day. On...
53 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
The room was very small and tacky. It's a bad sign when the sink is in the bedroom, with the tub and shower in a tiny bathroom. One steps through the front room and almost into the side of an armoire, which is the only closet for the room. However, this armoire also holds a TV, small refrigerator, and the coffee pot with coffee is stored on a tray on the floor.
The worst part of the ambiance was the horrible stained, acoustical ceiling. No effort was made to paint out the stain which covered 1/3 of the ceiling. The stain was caused from the leaking portable hot tub on the balconies of the rooms on the second floor. (Not to mention the humming sounds coming from the hot tub pumps.)
The bedding was dreadful. The bed had a feather mattress cover with the prickly chicken feather quills sticking through the cloth. The duvet bedspread cover was as heavy as the lead apron one has to wear when having their teeth x-rayed. It was so bad we had to call for blankets and remove both the mattress pad and bedspread.
