The Inn at Morro Bay is located in the Morro Bay National Estuary, just inside the gates of the Morro Bay State Park. The property is surrounded by natural beauty. At the western edge of the property is Morro Bay, at its southern edge is the rate Blue Heron Rookery, at its eastern edge is the 18-hole bay view golf course and finally, at its northern edge is a row of 100-year old Monterey Cypress trees. This "Cape Code" style hotel on the shore on Morro Bay offers 98 guest rooms, most with bay views, private balconies, cozy fireplaces, and/or spas. Great surroundings, peaceful, easy access.Didn't like the wicker chair in the room, not very comfortable. We were looking for a cool, peaceful place near Hearst Castle. Very convenient. Near plenty of good places to eating right on the water.

We stayed here over a holiday weekend and I was shocked at the price! They raise the prices ridiculously high during these times. The hotel is older but the suites with the fireplaces are nice. It's right on the bay and offers a spectacular view....

We got there early & they got us aroom bfore normal check-in. They also allow us to upgrade the room. After staff, the food was really outstanding.
