Once found this is a nice bed and breakfast in a spectacular location. Be sure to get directions before arriving in Hilo as the inn does not return telephone calls and the locals we talked with had no idea of its existence.
The waterfall right off the main veranda is the gem of this location...worth every penny and the hassle of an indifferent owner and nearly absent staff. Enjoy the scrumptious breakfast (prepared by Bobye an industrious helper, neither indifferent nor absent) and then head out to the volcano, other nearby falls, Hilo, or just enjoy the falls and the gardens.
Return after your day's activities for a great night's sleep in a comfortable bed, gently lulled to sleep by the sound of the waterfall (or the frequent rain). Arise and start again with that marvelous breakfast!!!
