As mentioned, the location of this hotel is ideal, right between River Street and the City Market. You will not be without a great number of dining and shopping options.
The price of the hotel seemed fair and competitive. Be aware that parking is $9/day, but you can come and go as many times as you pleased. For the area, that's a very reasonable price for parking.
Our only complaint was that they got our room wrong, and handled it very poorly. They had us booked as 1 night in a two-bed room, when I had booked 2 nights with a King suite.
Before we got to the hotel, they apparently had straightened this out (we called on our way to verify our reservation). However, when we got there, they put us in the room with two bed.
When I called the front desk, the attendant, Wayne Mah, said I should "come down and get the proper keys". I said, "no, you may bring them to me".
He brought me the keys and walked with us as we dragged our luggage down the hall to our new room. The new keys didn't work. He went to get new keys. Again.
This time, the keys worked, and when we said "thanks", he replied with a "yep" and walked off. Needless to say, I called his manager and complained. If he hadn't been so rude, it would've been much easier to forget the whole incident.
Overall, I recommend this hotel. However, just call and check everything before you get there. They might need a little bit more time to get things lined up for you.
