Excellent
Classy old bungalow style hotel in a quiet conclave just one block from Palm Canyon drive. The Ingleside run by Mel Haber, has been and still is a favorite hideaway for Hollywood celebrities. Great service in the old Palm springs style.

I go the ingleside 3 to 4 times a year the staff are all very friendly, the food is great and the rooms are very cosy. It is just the best place I have found to relax I love it.

The Ingleside Inn must be a closely guarded secret in Palm Springs. Only five other rooms were occupied when we were there. (It was during the week). Four blocks from the center of downtown, it is well within walking distance of the Palm Springs Museum, the Palm Springs Follies and all the shops. The property is historic ( Clark Gable and Carol Lombard honeymooned there) and well kept. Our room was very comfortable with a King bed, decorated in a Mediterranean style and antique furnishings. The restaurant (Melvyn's) is reminiscent of the Rat Pack era for ambience and has a daily special menu that is delicious and well priced. The staff was friendly and helpful (the WiFi isn't available in ALL the rooms-thick adobe walls?) and our stay was great.
