We have stayed at the Imperial Palace 3 times. This time was our last. There are only 6 elevators in an 18 floor building that house 2700 rooms. If you dont like the stairs, be prepared to wait up to 20 minutes for an elevator. I went shopping the the Premium outlet and had over $400 worth of merchandise in a shopping bag clearly marked 'COACH'. The bag probably weighed about 5lbs because it had 3 purses, a keychain and a wallet in it. When we came back from the pool, our room was clean and my purses were gone. The cleaning woman 'claimed' she thought it was garbage. The hotel did nothing to ease my frustration. They didnt even offer any free meals or a better room. The security staff took a report and said it was passed on to risk management and then an outside 'insurance' company. The rooms are not kept up. The bath tub doesn't drain while you're taking a shower. It does eventually drain after you're out and dryed off. My 3 previous stays were 'ok'. Not great but for the price and location we liked it. Now, after my $400 loss of merchandise I will never stay there again and I will post on every possible hotel rating website available.
