my friends and i have stayed at this hotel four years in a row now and we love it. great location, great staff and great atmosphere. found the rooms on each occasion clean and good sized. might be a bit darker than some of the glitzier hotels, but definitely more relaxed and fun. always find staff friendly throughout hotel. the bar tenders make you feel at home and dealertainers always entertaining. after trying out breakfast buffets in other hotels we now just always use the tea room at the imperial, staff are great and food brilliant. cant wait for next visit.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Imperial Palace in a Deluxe Room. The price was great and the service was great. The room was very clean and when our toilet started to leak help was up within 5 minutes. We had a bacony and were on the very top floor facing The Strip. Carnival Court is just below and the noise is very loud it lasts till about 3 in the morning, it's Vegas so I didn't mind. Your right in the middle of everything which is great! I couldn't have been more pleased with the room.

We didn't stay at the casino for more than 10 minutes it's older and not very fun compared to everything else right next to you. I would stay here again but not for a while. I want try all the other Harrah's propertys first.

WE make our reservations three months in advance and request two queen size beds. twice we have had to wait a night or two to receive them, we don't like king size beds. Our room was not cleaned on April 9 2008 , room number 17128. What are you going to do about it?

35 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We arrived @ Imperial Palace @ 11am check in went smooth-- they said we could leave our lugguage with bellhop and they would take it to our rooms... we had never been to Las Vegas before so we wanted to go-- We arrived back @ our hotel rooms @2am ready to lay down-- we booked a room 3 months prior and requested 2 beds smoking handicap acc. we GOT 1 bed NoN smoking handicap acc. I called down to the front desk and let them know that we needed 2 beds (My cousin and I he's in a wheelchair) they told me no problem they will fix it and send a bellhop with new keys to our new room. I sat and waited for 30 min. (exhausted already) I called back down I spoke to lady who was really rude and asked me why didnt I make sure that the room was right when I checked in I was very angery at this piont and asked to speak to a manager. Needless to say I sat on hold for over 10 minutes. I decided to go tot he front desk- I asked to speak to a manager and a lady by the name of Jidelissa came out and introduced herself as a manager I explained the problem she told me the hotel was completely booked- I told her that that was not an option- she offered me a rollaway I also told her that that was not an option she finally was very apollogetic and offerd to leave my cousin in the nonsmoking handicap acc. room for the night and I would be put in the "penthouse" (not as glamourous as it seems believe me) I told her I could care less where,I just wanted a smoking room with a bed- she also told me she would have all of this fixed in the morning and we could pick up our keys to our new room later the next afternoon , I offered my thanks and appreciation for the professionalism that she handled it and went to bed. The following day we went out for the day and returned to the hotel around 12am and stopped at the front desk to get our new keys.....YEAH..... Nobody had a clue on what was going on I spoke to another manager by the name of Greald who was extremely UNprofessioal and down right RUDE!!!! I expained everything that happed the day before he expained to me that he could NOT give me the penthouse for free AGAIN! I explained to him I never asked nor did I care about the damn penthouse just wanted what I booked in the first place!!! Then he told me that room requests (like 1 bed. 2 bed smk/NSMK) were upon availabilty I expressed to him that we booked this over three months ago!!!!! He also was very rude speaking over top of me. LET me teel you in the end after two days of hell with this hotel they fianally got it right and I PAID for all four night was never offerd anything for compensation for our trouble!!!!! I have been a dealer in Council Bluffs, IA for 10 years I have been in this business for quite awhile- this trip was horrifing and I can't see myself returning to Vegas or this Property !!!!!!!

40 year old man with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

The casino and public areas were hot and humid, the whole place felt uncleaned. The Emperors buffet is by far the worst around, low variety, mediocre quality, school cafeteria atmosphere, service is non-existent. please don't waste your money!, spend the extra ten bucks and go to the buffet at Paris! Harrahs Entertainment, - bit of advice, - wrecking ball!!!
