This hotel is a medieval castle , now national monument , near 5 km from Assisi. It has kept intact all its unique characteristics: its massive stone walls; the central structure around which the living quarters were constructed; the underground cellars, so typical of the period and carefully restored, which today house the dining area where one may enjoy fine Umbrian cuisine. The rooms (all with private bath) have been renewed sobriously in accordance with the medieval style and look out over the surrounding hills.
