30 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The friendly staff is not enough to out-weigh the logistical problems of this hotel. The elevator situation is a constant headache with only 3 elevators servicing 16 floors there is almost always a considerable line backing up to the lobby. Housekeeping is reliable but we found pieces of glass inside of our newly laundered sheets. The biggest turnoff was the $15 charge to use the workout room. What kind of "4 star" resort charges its patrons to use the weight room? In general, this hotel is not worth the price nor should it be considered a 4 star resort.

31 year old female with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

We went down on 3/14/08 & came back on 3/15/08. The hotel was very busy but we were checked in fairly quickly- after waiting in the valet line for about 10 minutes... we went up to our room and when we stepped off the elevator- the entire floor smelled musty. The air in the room really doesn't keep the room cool and it only goes down to a certain temperature... the ventilation was really my only complaint. The casino was full and the tables were fun to play on. I lost some in the slot machines- but won a bit back when I played on the Craps tables. I experienced the awesome "Chill" bar. The entertainment was great and the overall atmosphere was energetic. An overall good trip!!

41 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

When we arrived there were 4 people at the podium of the 32 restaurant and they all smiled and waited for me to say i have a reservation..the entire time they were all laughing amongst themselves it was very rude..the head manager was talking to a waiter and laughing at some people that were sitting in the lounge area, as i followed where they were looking i realized they were checking out a women who was wearing a slightly revealing dress..when i finally got sat i witnessed the manager grab the rear end of one of the waiters...i felt like i was in a denny's not a supposed fine dining restaurant...Our waitress was nice and the food was o.k. i have been here several times and it seems like something is missing over the last couple of months. the food was missing the usual style, it was o.k. but the extra something was missing. I had just read an article before i came that was about chef Morgan and a certified chef poplin but this food was no better the the neighborhood ruby Tuesday's..i think that the ip has lived off of the idea that they are the only show in town.....I had the chef come to our table to ask him a couple of questions and he did not know the answers and was acting as if i was bothering him, he hovered like he wanted something. Like i said something was missing from the entire experience from the joker of a manager to the supposed chef, i would not recommend this place to anyone i know that is for sure...........

It was a very nice hotel in which I will stay the next time I go there. The only problem we had was that they gave us one room and they listed us in another which caused us to be locked out of our room. But they took care of that and they gave us a free meal.

I am very likely to return to the IP Casino Resort Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Hotel was nice and clean, employees were very nice and helpful whenever i encountered them. Gambling machines were pretty tight however, and table games are almost entirely blackjack and 3 card poker. Why it makes sense to have 20 empty blackjack tables, 10 empty 3 card poker tables and 1 Let it Ride table completely packed and a crowd standing around it waiting for someone to stand up so thay can pounce is a mystery to me. Variety would be nice.

Biggest problem is the health nuts that see you smoking a cigarette, then sit down next to you and start waving thier hands and complaining about your smoke. Maybe they should light up because all that stress they force on themselves will certainly kill them before my cigs kill me.
