We want to let you know about our recent stay at a beautiful motel, The Hy-land Motor Inn. When we awoke in the morning we found ourselves enjoying the view of a large peaceful wooded setting. It was such a relaxing and wonderful feeling, something everyone looks to have when traveling.
We were so surprised with the quietness around us even though the motel had a "no vacancy" sign on all night. We noticed we were the lucky ones who took the last room around 9:50 PM when we walked in without a reservation. We slept so well that we were sorry to have to leave and continue our trip to go South by the way of Cape May-Lewis Ferry. Our room was so clean and comfortable to be in. It had a microwave and refrigerator. The TV had a nice stereo sound. Also the room had wireless internet access available, but we did not, however, bring our laptop with us this trip.
We returned the key at the front desk and picked up one of the motel's business cards so that we could reserve a room if we are in the area again.

upon arriving i was pleasantly surprised to see the nice grounds, lots of trees, bbqs, picnic tables and the oversized pool. check in was expedient, staff very helpful and the room was good size and extremely clean.the motel is centrally located to most area beaches and attractions & prices were good for the cape may area. we stayed this memorial weekend enjoyed it, will return and would reccomend to all
We love to stay here, it is so much more economical than anywhere in Stone Harbor, but close enough we still spend much of our time there for beach, shopping, dining etc. The pool, however is a nice place to relax and we often have it all to...

We went to NJ for the Columbus Day Soccer Tournament-hotels were all booked far ahead. We booked a room at this motel for lack of anywhere else to go. The rate was $120 before taxes, this room was not worth $50. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, in the grout of the tiles, the handle to the shower, the room had a strange odor that I had to spray a half bottle of febreeze to bear. The furniture was 1920, the beds were as springy as a trampoline, the pillows were old and flat, the bathroom had some new fixtures but they were done by very poor workmanship. When we contacted the manager of the motel we were told too bad you can't get your money back should have said something, well since they close at 10pm and we did not get back til late, who were we suppose to tell and where were we suppose to sleep, this was a very unfortunate choice of motels, DO NOT STAY HERE.
My stay at the Hyland Motor Inn was very peaceful and quiet. Rooms were comfortable and clean and pricing was reasonable when compared to Cape May or Stone Harbor.
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyland Motor Inn because it was very quiet and peaceful. I didn't have to fight anybody for parking like most places in wildwood, and best of all was the location because it was right off the parkway and i could...
