Hyatt on Capitol Square Hotel

From the time we valet parked our car to checkin the whole process was AWESOME! Every employee that we encountered was so nice and helpful. The bellman that helped us with our bags to the room was so imformative. He gave us info about their restaurant, the city, and other helpful info about the hotel. The Plaza Restaurant was great! The food/presentation/quality and service was top notch. We heard that the chef won quite a few awards and it shows. The mall attached is not really there anymore, but there are plenty of things to do nearby. My family and I stay in downtown Columbus a few times a year and love to go to German Villiage, the Arena District, COSI, Short North, and a few of the local shops. We always treat ourselves to one evening of Room Service in the hotel and have Family Movie night. All of our experince at this property has been Amazing it's like our home away from home.

The location was fine and I had a comfortable spacey room. I did not like the parking arrangements.

It was a great location. I really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The room air quality was too dry and aggravated many of my coworkers allergies as well as my own. The bedding was new and comfortable. If you suffer from down allergies the staff will gladly offer you hypoallergenic alternatives.

This hotel made me feel important: They listened to my concerns and they gave me immediate response.

The location was good but the hotel staff was poorly trained.
