This seems to have all the big hotel amenities without being so big it becomes impersonal. Conveniently located near a mall, food and a short drive off of Route 128.

Summerfield Suites Burlington Hotel is very good BUT - pricing makes a difference.
I've stayed at this hotel every December for the last 5 years. The 1 bedroom suites are nice and generally clean with double doors separating the bedroom/bathroom area from the living room/kitchen area. There is a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove with cookware and dishes/utensils for 4 people. The hotel itself is maintained nicely and there is a complementary warm self-serve breakfast in a large downstairs room each morning. The hotel still has a choice of smoking or non-smoking rooms.
The hotel was owned by Wyndham and then rebranded to Hyatt in 2007.
Hyatt did not seem to do much to the hotel EXCEPT to double the rate. The Wyndham rate was $80-100 a night without taxes (discounted web rate) from 2003-2006. After Hyatt purchased the hotel, the rate for the exact same room increased to $170/night in 2007. Oddly enough, in October the rates were reduced and we stayed for $98/night in December, 2007.
As of this writing (June, 2008), the current nightly rate for the same room in December 2008 is being quoted at $199/night Sunday-Thursday nights and $109/night Friday and Saturday nights as a special web rate.
Considering other properties available in the area, this hotel would be a good buy at $120/night or less. However, at $200/night there are comparable but less expensive options nearby.

Free wireless, complimentary breakfast. The room seemed cold and took a while to get warmed up.“Outstanding facility and outstanding staff. I would be thrilled if every trip to this area resulted in a stay at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites...
My friend booked a suite for her, her son (who goes to the Children's Hospital in Boston), and myself as her husband had to work...The suite was great!! It felt like having your own apartment...It has a whole little kitchen with dishes and pots/pans to cook...a dishwasher, stove, full fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, small table with 2 chairs, etc...The living room had a big TV and DVD player, pull-out couch, comfy chairs, etc...The bedroom had a queen or king size bed, dresser, large TV, nightstands, a large walk-in closet with mirror doors...The bathroom was personal as well...the sink and vanity were separate from the toilet and shower/tub...They offer a nice breakfast with hot and cold food every morning...While we were there they also had a couple of quick dinner items...
We stayed 2 nights and only had to buy lunch the next day...A great savings from ordering out all the time...
Plus with cleaning service...it's the best!!...Staff were great and helpful...You can do all kinds of shopping and sightseeing within a short distance of the hotel...If I could live there forever I would've!! I highly recommend staying here!! Your dollars go along way and our stay was worth every penny!! I would love to stay there again!!! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a comfortable place to stay!!
I've stayed at a lot of hotels over the years and this one tops my list!!!

The facility and its personnel left nothing to be desired, clean, convenient, courteous, practically instantaneous response to requests. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite and couldn't have been happier. Consider buying a Charlie Card and taking the bus which stops right outside the main entrance. 45 minutes or less puts you in downtown Boston, close to or easy access to major tourist attractions, and someone else has maneuvered through the traffic and you haven't had to find a parking space. Enjoy!
