98 year old man with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We loved our five day stay here. It's off the beaten path, but has every possible amenity. Their service was absolutely exceptional, with smiles everywhere and a great willingness to help.

We saved our "special night" for the premium restaurant, the Corn Maiden, and we had a terrible experience there. The service was chilly and indifferent, the food was creepy and expensive. My wife had a mix of greens and a splash (literally) of house wine for $19. I ordered the Land and Sky, it arrived as four greasy chunks of relatively poor quality meat, with a side of oily au gratin potatoes tasting vaguely like cocoa powder. No one checked on our satisfaction. There were lots of grand flourishes during the presentation, but from a seemingly robotic staff with memorized lines. We choked down about half the meal and registered a complaint with the indifferent waitress (when we could get her attention). The maitre'd announced a 25% cut (my meal only), and had no interest in whether we saw this as a real remedy. After stinging the waitress with no tip and deducting the discount, we were still out $62. It was terrible.

This experience aside, the remainder was the greatest. The cafe food was exceptional, and the service there was of the highest quality. Overall, we would come back for sure, though avoiding the Corn Maiden like a European plague.

35 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

The location was great, right between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. It was remotely situated from the busy city area. It had beautiful views all around!

This hotel made me feel content: The setting was truly calming. The spa services were equally amazing.

I am very likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

It is a beautiful facility and the location is quiet, peaceful and fun. It is perfect for family and offers multi-generation enjoyment. The staff was outstanding.

This hotel made me feel important: The staff called us by our names. They cheerfully anticipated our needs. All the staff were polite and cheerful and helpful.
