I felt like I was in prison.
The rooms and halls were brown and drab. The bed was hard and squeaky. No food after 10 and no check-in before 3. This place has a lot of rules and they stuck to every one of them. This is not a good hotel. Don't waste your time or money.
48 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
This stay was months ago, but from what I remember, the desk people were busy and they took very little time to answer our questions about local sites. We were not impressed by the staff.
There did not seem to be anyone hanging around that did not belong there.
I am not likely
to return to the Hyatt Regency St Louis Riverfront.
I might recommend it to friends.

It was a good experience. The staff was nice, the restaurant was delicious and the waiters were pleasant. Parking was cheap enough and easily accessible. I liked how almost every room had a view of the Arch.

After reading some of the ratings on various travel sites, I did not have high expectations for this hotel. I even came close to cancelling my reservation after reading some of them. I'm glad I didn't.
The hotel was fine, the staff was very friendly and efficient, and I am happy with my stay. The room service was great, and they delivered a fantastic pizza to our room in a very short time. The valet parking was fast and efficient as well.
Given the excellent location, great service and adequate facilities, I would not hesitate to stay with them again.

The staff was stiff and standoffish, not very pleasant at all. The rooms were small and the furniture was cheap. The plumbing was old, it made a lot of noise and I knew when all of my neighbors were showering or flushing.
