Location. The newly renovated Hyatt Regency Sarasota overlooks a private marina on Sarasota Bay in Sarasota, Fla. The hotel is across the street from the science museum, Gee Whiz, and is adjacent to downtown Sarasota. Lido Beach and shopping at St. Armand Circle are three miles away. When a hotel has eliminated services and facilities to conserve expenses, it should communicate the changes to its clientele before reservations are made. When it has closed its main restaurant, it should publicize the closure.
