Why do they bother to ask what type room you want because it never fails when we show up we can't get the room we booked until we get upset. Is it that hard to reserve a king room and expect to get it when you arrive?

The Hyatt in San Antonio is very confusing. I wish they would 'renumber the floors' rather than have ground floor, lobby level, conference room a level, b level, etc. Also, I wish the elevator would take you directly to the Riverwalk level.

The hotel had very friendly and helpful personnel--from the valet parking to the switchboard operator to the desk clerk. They were very attentive to our needs. It's a first-class operation with first-class employees.
This hotel made me feel content: I stayed in a beautiful room overlooking the street and the Alamo. There was an in-room coffeemaker.

61 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We paid for 7 nights altogether. They were used by our children. I believe it would be nice to get credit on my loyalty points for all of these instead of for only 2 nights. I love the hotel, and this was our second Christmas trip there.
This hotel made me feel respected: At my age you always know if you are respected or not. The front desk knew how to treat us.
