Hyatt Regency Reston Hotel

At 11:45 at night I was told they overbooked the hotel and sent to another one 30 minutes away. I had a confirmed reservation and had received numerous emails from the hotel confirming my stay. The night staff was generally polite, but couldn't care less that they didn't have my room. I needed to be there two nights for a business conference at the hotel, and missed the first hour of it the next morning trying to figure out how to get back in northern Virginia rush hour traffic. Nice hotel though. Too bad I couldn't enjoy it.

We received the worst customer service here of any hotel we have ever stayed at. Very unaccomodating.

We went with our family December 1st for a family event and we stayed at the Reston Hyatt. The room and location, with its proximity to shopping and things for the kids was great. However, the staff treated us poorly. I was expecting important medication to be fed-exd by noon and at 5pm, they assured us it had never arrived. It turns out it was just sitting in a closet and when we explained it was medicine and very important, the manager acted like she could care less. The Hotel also is the only hotel I have ever been to that charges its guest 5.00 to use the pool! They also charge to use the workout center.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location. The staff was friendly and efficient. The only problem I had was that I ordered a double room and I received a single room. Rather than wait for a double room to be available I settled for a roll out bed.

It was really beautiful and I really enjoyed myself.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The linens and the rooms were just divine, I loved everything and I could sleep for hours in a room.
