They provided great service from unloading the car to the arrival of the luggage in room. The staff was always friendly and willing to answer questions.

I have had a horrible experience with the wedding reception services at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, and their wedding specialist. I was informed just 10 days prior to my wedding reception that the ballroom I had originally reserved is now no longer available because a conference scheduled earlier that week has decided to extend its stay. Their explanation is that the conference is being given priority because of their potential to bring the hotel more money as opposed to a "small $20,000 wedding".
Adding to the problems, the wedding specialist behaved in a manner that was completely unprofessional, going so far as to say an "emotional bride wouldn't understand how Hyatt needs to conduct its business". Their solution is to offer me the use of another much smaller ballroom, which may not accommodate the full party, or to accept the cancellation fee, as compensation and use a different facility entirely. That would have been a potential option had we been informed earlier. It's apparent they knew much earlier that this was going to be a problem, but failed to inform me in a timely manner. If this is how things are being handled, then what is the point of making a reservation for a ballroom a year in advance? Ten days notice that my wedding is being bumped from its original location is absolutely unacceptable; being told that I won't make the hotel as much money as their other client even more so. What makes matters worse is the very unprofessional behavior displayed by their wedding specialist in both her comments and her manner of handling the situation. The whole experience has made a mess of what should be a joyous occasion for me. I would strongly discourage any bride-to-be from using the Hyatt O'Hare as a venue for the reception. They are terrible.

I love having the complimentary coffee in the room. The room was cleaned before noon each day that I was there. The beds now have extra padding and that is a great touch!
