Hyatt Regency New Brunswick Hotel

We had 4 rooms reservations for 5 months....when we arrived at 3 p.m., which was the stated check-in time, we were told that we could not get into our rooms until after 8 p.m. because the college football teams were in the rooms and there was a contract with the university. Our party was from Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, with small children and elderly, and we had no place to go! After much debate and our anger for not being notified of changed check in times, we were able to get 2 out of 4 of our rooms. A gentleman at the desk told us we could not have a "party" in the executive suite, which we paid in total about $300 a night for.........more aggravation and we told him we're having our "party", which was a 50th anniversary get together with 15 people. When we finally could get into the other 2 rooms, the accommodations were wrong....we ordered 2 rooms with 4 double beds and received 2 King rooms....we were told that we didn't order any room preference (which was untrue....I have the itinerary)....and that they cannot guarantee room type.....so we had to sleep on roll away beds........This is after making reservations in April for October stay!!!!!

All in all the hotel is nice, but the front desk staff was smug and not empathetic to the needs of travelers. I would not go to this hotel again without calling before hand to make sure that my accommodations were correct.....

I stayed at the Hyatt Agency for 3 nights while staying in New Brunswick. Has to be one the best hotel stay I've had in a while. My experience started when I arrived approximately 10:30 at night to only be met in the lobby by a member of the local police force keeping an eye on the hotel. It felt pretty safe.

Just a beautiful clean room to welcome me after a long day at the beach. Linens were clean, no bed bugs and relatively quiet. My room was airy and ultra clean. It smelled brand new and the bathroom was sparkling. The staffs were friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to stay at this hotel whenever I visit New Brunswick.

We went over to New Brunswick for a week and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel which was closely located to the heart of downtown. It was a very relaxing enjoyable stay. The staffs were very kind, friendly and energetic. The room we had was very clean. We were located very close to a couple golf courses which we went and had a great time playing. The restaurant for dining was amazing. Everything was perfect, the weather and the view from our room was gorgeous. We will return to the Hyatt Regency if whenever we go back to New Brunswick.

They have great hotels and services no matter in what city. The staff is pleasant to deal with and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and spotless.

This hotel made me feel respected: Everyone is courteous. Terms like madam or sir were used at times.

The Hyatt hotel was under renovations and nothing was opened. They did not give me a discount because of this.
