50 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Our stay at the hotel was marred by an unfortunate incident when my car was broken into and a window smashed in.
The Hyatt refused to take any responsibility as they did not own the lot. The lot said that they were not liable for any damage either. While these incidents do happen in downtown areas, one would expect big name hotels to be more concerned with providing security to the guests and their belongings and to step up and take some responsibility when that fails.
Unfortunately, in this case they were more concerned with limiting their liability. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for safety reasons. Nice clean rooms and a courteous staff does not amount to much if you are going to get mugged in the hotel parking lot.
