Hyatt Regency McCormick Place Chicago Hotel - Page 2

I was at a conference at the McCormick convention center, for this purpose it was an adequate hotel. It was nothing interesting, but nothing objectionable either.

The hotel was remote from the city. There were no restaurants within walking distance. The hotel restaurant was very expensive.

Everything was very nice. It was more than expected.

This hotel made me feel important: Everything I needed was taken care of.

The only thing I was not thrilled with was the location of the hotel in regards to subway stops. Other than that, it was a great place to stay.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: The rooms were efficiently laid out. The beds were nice and the bathroom had nice amenities.

The location was very convenient to the conference that I attended and the accommodations were adequate. I had a tough time getting an iron to my room and ended up not pressing my garment, but that was the most trouble I had during my four-night stay.

The room and staff were very nice, however, this was a package deal and they did not live up to the package. The concierge was not available when needed.

It had a great view, a nice staff, and a clean room, but I thought it would be closer to downtown.

It is convenient to the conference a family member was attending. It was easy to get to other places in the city from it.

This hotel was very clean. It was not near any restaurants and I had to take the bus to get lunch. It was very crowded.

Check-in was extremely efficient, we were able to get into our room earlier than expected and the hotel staff was courteous, efficient, and helpful.

This hotel made me feel secure: They had personnel at the desk always.

They have large, comfortable rooms. It's easy to get to and from.

Everyone was courteous. The concierge was helpful. The free shuttle was especially nice.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The room was comfortable.

The location was a little inconvenient for our purpose. We were attending a conference that was located downtown so we needed to commute. However, the shuttle service they provided came in great use. They had no problem upgrading our room to fit the extra person and even took the time to set up our extra bed for us. Besides the fact that they accidentally double-charged us, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

This hotel made me feel excited: We had a beautiful view which really got me thrilled about the city.

The elevator system was handy so that you didn't have to stop at every floor. It is relatively quiet in the rooms, and they have a nice view. The hotel was completely unprepared for the convention that was scheduled for it. The restaurant in the hotel was horribly understaffed and under prepared for a thousand women, and we were told that they would be able to accommodate us.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They used lots of signage to help those of us who arrived late. The porters were very helpful in getting me into my room.

It was very convenient for a convention at McCormick Place. But there were too long waits for a luggage pick up, though. The bell stand seemed understaffed for the end of a trade show that had filled the hotel.

The location was excellent. Upon arrival, the room I had requested several months earlier was unavailable. The problem was remedied but it took nearly forty five minutes to resolve.

The pool was too small and the area was very messy when I went to swim. Other than that the stay was fine.

This hotel made me feel excited: The view of the lake and the city was nice.

The hotel was convenient to my meeting. It is not convenient for tourists, and not suitable to walk anywhere.

The location had perfect access to public transportation and a rental car. The hotel room was of a great size and we were really impressed with the roll away bed we requested for our four year old because we were expecting more of a cot and it was a full size twin bed. The room had ample space for even this bed. The service was good except for the room service because the menu listed three items that we wanted but we were told that each of the items were no longer available.

The location of this hotel was great.

This hotel made me feel pampered: They called me by my name. They were always asking if they can help in any way. They made you feel they were glad that you were staying there.
