Pets are allowed throughout the resort. II was told that pets are only allowed in certain rooms. I know that pets can pose a health hazard in rooms, and the rooms have to be specially cleaned for such. In the room where I was, the linens had not been changed from the last guest because I could smell perfume on the sheets from the prior guests.
The air conditioning is turned off about 2 or 3 in the morning and back on about 8 am. The air does flow, but only air, not cool air. For the amount of money I paid for three rooms, I would suggest that people go to Hyatt Hill Country in San Antonio.
I had an allergy problem in the room from something, and it certainly wasn't from smoking. Some people find pet smells as offensive as smoke and there is health hazard for both. I have never had this problem at Hyatt Hill Country in San Antonio. I have been going there once a year since that hotel opened.

I stayed here two weeks ago for a conference. Its a beautiful facility, outstanding food and has a friendly, well trained staff. But I had an issue with a critter nest in a chair in my room and roaches. While I know this is Texas country, I do not expect to see roaches in my room. I left a message for the hotel manager with my phone number, and he was not concerned enough to reply. I loved the resort but I would not recommend it.

This is a great family oriented resort, featuring an exciting pool area and family activities with a flowing crooked river. I really enjoyed the personal service at the pool for lunch and drinks. The kids really enjoyed horseback lessons, movies in the evening, S'mores and Camp Hyatt. The golf course is awesome and very secluded. The culinary fare was delicious and the whole family enjoyed dining in Firewheel. One suggestion, the bar could be open later, maybe until 1 for the adults to enjoy a beverage after the kids have calmed down. The best thing was the staff, very open-hearted and courteous, always offering to assist. We will be back!
