I was in Long Beach for my first time and did all my research on the hotel on travel website. It was more than I could have hoped for! You know sometimes you research and its nothing like the pictures...well this was and more. They greeted me at...

It was a very comfortable stay. The hotel had a friendly staff. The concierge was knowledgeable, but sometimes it took a long time to get to talk to the concierge.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
I might recommend it to friends.

It is everything and more that you expect from a true five star resort hotel. I was made to feel like a very important person from the arrival to the departure.
They called me Mister and the staff was always willing to offer suggestions in how to make the stay better. I appreciated the use of the various amenities.
I am very likely
to return to the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

When we arrived the front desk would not correct the reservations which were wrong. Each time they were rude when we spoke about anything and failed to provide the simplest information such as how to get to the convention center. The towels were never correct but always shorted and this could not be corrected by phone calls to the front desk or to housekeeping. We would just have to catch a maid. At departure they refused to provide separate receipts even though we paid with two separate cards, sharing the expenses. Neither talking to the manager nor writing to their on line contact address produced any results. It was a very negative experience over all.
I am not likely
to return to the Hyatt Regency Long Beach.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Beautiful facility close to the harbor. Staff accomodating but we got confused responses to questions about if, and how, we had to pay for a visiting daughter's car to park. Eating outdoors on the large patio by the pool was a lovely experience....

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly, and went out of their way to accommodate our family. No fan in bathroom. Bathroom could have been cleaner upon arrival. Very comfortable king size bed. Location great as you can walk to many restaurants, movie theatre across street, family friendly.
