The Hotel and scenery was beautiful. All though when I purchased the Hotel the room was supposed to be smoking with a king bed and we did not get either. It was non smoking which we could have lived with but we ended up with 2 double beds and really wanted a king. the view was also not what we expected.
female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Very nice inside with great views. If you drive there from the Airport beware of the neighborhoods you drive through that are very near by. 2 blocks behind the hotel get very questionable.
Another con is that for this price you could stay in the city. There are not a lot of good places to eat around here, you have very limited choices.
Pro very clean hotel .... (Con...extra charge for wireless and parking 30 per day). The staff was friendly and helped in advise of how to get about in the city. And the view out the windows were fabulous.

Just a subway ride to NY, Clean, not crowded, Great Italian places just blocks away. The skyline view from the river is great at nite, Get a water taxi in the evening and go from NJ to the Statue of Liberty from NJ, tip, ask for a river view and...

Okay
Location is perfect, right beside train station. Bad experience is when the hotel lost all our lugguges and only found them when we were checking out. Hotel also lost our rental car's keytag.

The restaurant and bar are VERY overpriced for the low value and qualtiy of the food , no-name drinks and seemingly inexperienced customer service. Yes the Hudson River and NYC Skyline views are mesmorizing and romantic at night. So much so you may as well take the PATH and stay in downtown NYC ..same high prices (some less..go figure..) but more vibrant and has places to go. There is NOTHING at Jersey City Exchange Place in early evening or/and after dark

This Hyatt is a jewel. This is the best kept secret of New York. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed. The view from this hotel is superb. The best skyline views of Manhattan and the Hudson River will greet you from the moment that you...

I stayed at this hotel for about a week and I thought it wasn't half bad. The hotel looks new and the rooms were nice. We were given a room with a view of the Manhattan skyline, which was cool. Its conveniently located next to the Path station, which made it a short trip into the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. Couple of things i didn't really care too much for: the restaurant was nice, but it was a little overpriced and the food wasn't that great. Also, we had our linens changed after the first night. I was bitten a couple of times.
I absolutely LOVE this hotel! We like to visit New York City every year around Christmas time. We have stayed at many many places in NY and NJ but this is by far the greatest. The staff were absolutely wonderful and VERY helpful! As soon as we...
