My family & I arrived for our cousin's wedding & reception at the same hotel on 9/7-9/9.
Prior to the wedding, we took our niece & her father to the jacuzzi & pool area for some fun at 10am that Saturday.
Our family were the only occupants of the jacuzzi after every else left.
My brother in law - a MD - suddenly noticed at the bottom of the jacuzzi, human fecal matter -adult proportions.
We immediately summons the pool attendants who were not sure why it was there. We were never apologized to nor contacted again as they called about 10 mgrs to supervise & 1 person to clean.
Our party surmised that some adult revelers were in this jacuzzi the prior night & must have had too much to drink. Obviously there was no inspection the following AM prior to opening to the guests.
We lodged a complaint with the management on call to tell them that medical attention, at the very least, is warranted for all who were in contact with that jacuzzi but they never delved into the matter seriously the rest of the weekend with us.
Add to this the way the Hyatt failed to give us fresh towels & soap 2 out of the 4 days, nickel & dime all guests on valet & internet & we felt like we were treated like 2nd class citizens.
This was knowing full well that we were 8 of 800 ppl attending their wedding reception at this Hyatt.
I don't recommend this & all Hyatt because obviously, they do not check their facilities thoroughly, do not care about the well being of their clientèle, nor their satisfaction. We felt snubbed & disrespected.
We have since lodge a formal complaint with their Corporate HQ, the Board of Health in the OC & the BBB.
This is why the Hilton brand will be my choice in this segment from now on.
Hyatt does not deserve its places in any JD Powers or Michelin or AAA award nomination. They don't RESPECT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
