Accommodations are average. When we checked in the person behind the desk asked us if this was our first time in Chicago, when we replied that it was, she upgraded us to a suite at no charge and wished us a great time. Later there was an issue...

This hotel is near everything. I walked to Magnificent Mile, the beaches, Navy Pier and the Taste of Chicago in Grant Park. The staff can take a long time for requests as I asked for a few things such as towels and blankets and they were not brought ...

The hotel is very nice and in a GREAT location. The staff--especially the concierge service--was very friendly. The rooms were clean and it felt very safe. The only drawback is that there were two of us in a standard room. The standard room is...

Okay
The hotel is not bad, but for the same price other places offer more comfort.
The service is good with the exception of one receptionist. I came a couple of hours earlier and asked if I could check in. I was told by her that the hotel is full and I...
51 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
My friends and I recently stayed here 4/16-4/19/08. Run for your life to another hotel! It took us 1.5 hours to find a key that would open the hotel room door. We called for the concierge and I went to the Gold desk for help. Neither person had keys that would open the door - even the pass keys wouldn't work. This building is apparently very old as the air duct in our room pointed to the opposite wall in front of the window and unless you were standing there you would suffocate anywhere else in the room. The bathroom had NO VENTILATION whatsoever. The shower had mildew on the walls which I asked to be cleaned and it never was. For a room costing $200+ it was a disgrace. I've had much better/cleaner rooms at many, many other chains. NEVER AGAIN!!!

We have stayed twice at this hotel with our kids. One trip was several nights and one was one night. Both times we did not have a choice where to stay. In the evening and at night the bar area is pretty loud on weekends...really a place for...
