Okay
To make a long story short, I got there on a Saturday night. They told us that they had overbooked the hotel so they sent us a few blocks down elsewhere. We came back the next day around noon and our room was still not ready. The place was jam...

While the hotel is geared to conventions, we had a great time. The location is incredible. Central to Art Museum, Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile shopping), Hancock building and Navy Pier. Inexpensive taxi ride along the lake to Field Museum,...

35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I have traveled all over the world in my line of work and this was the worst experience of my life. The valet at the Hyatt lost my car keys, I got stranded two extra days in Chicago because I had to find a way to get my spare key from my home which was 200 miles away, I finally got my key and got sent away two days later with insurance paperwork from the parking garage. I have to get my key remade at a dealership here and now submit a claim to their insurance company. They have wiped their hands clean. The hotel just turned over the parking to an outside facility. You think when you pull into the Hyatt that you are parking with the Hyatt Hotel, hence the $45 parking charge instead of the no name garage two blocks away which only charges $25. This is NOT the case. They take no responsibility with your car. This was really disappointing since I had been having good luck with the Hyatt chain lately. I am going back to Mariott, was a platinum there for many years and never had anything even remotely close to this happen.
