The room was very spacious with very nice, colorful decorating. The beds felt like lying on a cloud, and there were four pillows on each bed, two fiberfill and two down so you could choose which you like better. The bathroom was very nice also. Overall, I was very pleased with the stay. You had to show your room key to get in after ten p.m. I thought that was a good security issue. It has a great location too, close to downtown. I would recommend it.
This hotel made me feel elegant: The decorations were very classy. Most hotels have two of the same framed art, boring bedspreads and lumpy pillows. The Hyatt Regency was just the opposite.

The hotel was ideally located to major transfer points on the El, CTA train, and to quality local restaurants. The check-in procedure for multiple occupants is greatly flawed and needs to be addressed. Based on the trouble with checkout, I would not stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend it.

Overall, our stay at this hotel was amazing. The room was clean and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help with anything.
The only problem here was when we gave our keys to the valet, they told us to pay when we checked in, we checked in and they told us to go out and pay the valet. The valet then said "Just pay when you check out, we don't take money out here."
When we checked out we got the same run around and paid at the front desk. You are to pay your valet on the garage level! No one ever said this. So when we got down there they were having trouble finding cars sending people up and down the stairs. It was very chaotic. My tip: slip the valet a little something extra and he'll get your car in 2 minutes!
Overall, this was an amazing place to stay and I would stay again.

The room lighting was terrible. Both in the room and bathroom. The rooms weren't as clean as they should have been, the floors and such. The staff was excellent in every way. The food shop in the lobby had a homeless man eating nuts out of the container and no one seemed to care to stop him, so we didn't purchase anything from there. The cab driver central was next to the bathroom by the elevators near the restaurant. It was a constant stream of them.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The staff was very friendly and warm. From the valets who took the car to the lady who helped us check in a bit early in the day. Everyone we passed offered to help in some way.

For such a named company, the halls to my room were dim and somewhat convoluted. I felt somewhat vulnerable and it made the hotel seem kind of seedy. The hotel was also some distance from the meetings so it was not as convenient as I would have wished.

It was a great hotel with a good location. I really enjoyed the hotel bar and the breakfast although it was grossly overpriced. The video check in was very efficient as well.

This is a lovely hotel located near Chicago's famed Magnificent Mile. However, for the price I felt that the room was somewhat small for our family of four and it lacked adequate storage space. The bathroom was not adequately stocked with towels, although there was a spare in the closet. And I found it odd that the housekeeping staff did not leave fresh toiletries each day.

I liked the hotel. There was no pool which was disappointing but the location was very good for shopping. I would recommend this hotel, there is always something going on.

I was insulted by one of the cleaning staff. An item disappeared from my room. This item was replaced, but it took me an hour on the phone with five different people to get the matter resolved.
