It was very nice, and we had a very successful conference. I stayed in the same hotel for a similar conference for 7 nights back about 1990.

It was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was wonderful, the food delightful, the location spectacular.

This hotel made me feel hip: It is one of the best places to stay in Chicago, so staying at such a trendy place is very 'hip.'

We arrived late after a long trip and found no snacks available--except for the wildly overpriced items in the room refrigerator.

Hotel Review by a traveler from Redmond, WA - Posted Jan 5, 05

I was so disappointed with my stay. The check-in lines were horrible. Once we did check in, we were given a handicapped room on a smoking floor even though we had requested a non-smoking room.

I am not likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

This hotel made me feel entertained: The hotel is huge and there were many things to look at and things to do inside. The tunnels (walkways) to other areas and the other tower entertained my two daughters.

Given the packed hotel, everything ran quickly and smoothly. I also remember that the hotel was very clean and fresh smelling.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The hotel was packed but the front desk and room service were much faster and nicer than one would ever expect under the circumstances.

Hotel Review by a traveler from Oberlin, OH - Posted Oct 11, 04
23 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I enjoyed it immensely; it's a wonderful hotel. The only problem was it was New Year's and they gave us wristbands (little paper things) and said if we lost them they would charge us 25 dollars. We were not told this until New Year's Day.

This hotel made me feel pampered: The staff was very attentive, always asking if I needed anything and brought many things to my room (luggage, extra slippers, etc.).

I am very likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Hotel Review by a traveler from Knoxville, TN - Posted Oct 4, 04
35 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for business

I had a wonderful stay in Chicago during St. Patrick's day 2004! We loved it!

This hotel made me feel welcome: We were Priceline.com customers, but we were treated just like any other guest. We requested a king-sized bed via email and got a quick response. When we arrived, our king-sized bed was waiting for us! There were no problems, we felt at home.

I am very likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Chicago.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
