43 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for business

It was the greatest night we have ever spent in a hotel. The employees are wonderful, the rooms, pool, and exercise facilities are exceptional. The price is to die for. It's located in center city Georgia. Peachtree Street is beautiful. I needed a place to stay and this is a must see and a must stay.

This hotel made me feel secure: I had security call up and check on me during my stay, there were around the clock hall checks, and at the front door are police officers.

I am very likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I like the location with many nice restaurant options within walking distance. The staff was always helpful, and even remembers us from year to year. I think we've had the same bellman haul our stuff in and out for the past three or four years! When hosting particularly large conventions, the hotel could really use another two or three elevators though, it can take a long time to get up and down during peak hours for people to be moving about.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The people at the front desk worked to get people registered quickly. Our bellhop was the same person who has lugged our stuff in and out the hotel for the past three or four years, and always trying to find a way to make it quick and painless. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly all weekend, and helpful with doors and elevators when I was lugging stuff around. It was just a good experience all around!

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel was very clean and everything was in working order. The staff was very friendly and assisted in anyway they could. The time of stay was very short but enjoyed the experience.

Hotel Review by a traveler from Manchester, MO - Posted Jun 7, 06
34 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for business

I object to being charged dollar after dollar for items that at cheaper hotels were free. How was it that Days Inn and Motel Six offer free wireless Internet but Hyatt charges ten dollar a day? During a particularly busy period, I was trying to move a number of boxes from my exhibit space and borrowed a dolly. I got blessed out by a bellhop who told me I could not use the already-loaded dolly, made me wait there, told me he would be right back, but never came. I waited an hour.

This hotel made me feel elegant: The beds were extremely comfortable.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Awful
Hotel Review - Posted May 12, 06
32 year old woman with a economy budget, traveling for business

The hotel was big and the concierge was informative, polite, and extremely helpful. However, my room was poorly lit, the reservation did not accurately reflect my reservation, and once that was fixed, the staff had me marked as checked out of my room when I had not checked out. Consequently, I could not receive the call from my ride confirming his time of arrival and the cleaning staff kept coming by the room trying to clean it while I was there. My room was overpriced and the air conditioner did not work properly. Overall, it was a horrible stay.

I am not likely to return to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I have always enjoyed my stays at this hotel. The staff was pleasant and the hotel was in a great location.

This hotel made me feel entertained: The hotel was located in downtown Atlanta, which offers its guests a wide variety of options for dining and shopping within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel also has a wonderful bar located in the central area of the atrium and several dining options if you do not feel like leaving the grounds. Everything inside the hotel was very open and airy with a relaxing feeling.

I would definitely recommend it to friends.
