I was initially very impressed by the rooms at this hotel, but the service was so bad that it ruined my experience. The front desk staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. The shuttle van drivers were unbelievably unprofessional.
If you can afford a few extra dollars, it would probably be worth it to stay in Boston proper. Medford is a more or less uninteresting place to be, and although the hotel does offer a free shuttle to/from the nearest subway stop, expect to wait 30 to 60 minutes for the lackadaisical shuttle driver to show up.
