The Hyatt Place Schaumburg hotel is located in the center of the Chicago suburb of Schaumburg, Ill. with access to Interstate 90 east and west. The hotel is within five miles of Rolling Meadows, Arlington Heights and Hoffman Estates. O'Hare International Airport is 13 miles away. Downtown Chicago is 25 miles from the hotel. A lush forest preserve complete with a 14-mile paved path is less than one mile from the hotel. The Hyatt Place Schaumburg's complimentary services include breakfast buffets, a fitness facility, an indoor pool with a spa tub, and fruit and coffee in the lobby. We stayed on the top floor with a view to the south. Across the parking lot was the Hyatt Hotel with its outside reception area. The bands were very loud both Friday and Saturday nights; the noise did not stop until almost midnight both nights making sleep difficult. Next trip, we will request a room on the quiet side of the hotel, or we will choose a different hotel.
The continental breakfast was weak; not much selection and boring. Since we had to pay for any decent breakfast selections, we went to Panera Bread nearby.
