56 year old with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed on the top floor with a view to the south. Across the parking lot was the Hyatt Hotel with its outside reception area. The bands were very loud both Friday and Saturday nights; the noise did not stop until almost midnight both nights making sleep difficult. Next trip, we will request a room on the quiet side of the hotel, or we will choose a different hotel.
The continental breakfast was weak; not much selection and boring. Since we had to pay for any decent breakfast selections, we went to Panera Bread nearby.
The whirlpool was out of service and was in no big hurry to get fixed. The pool water temperature was about 68 degrees and the staff didn't seem to care about that either. No concierge or even literature on what to do in the area. Room was nice...

The location was very convenient for my purposes. The meeting room was comfortable. The staff was friendly. A variety of tasty breakfast selections was available, breakfast was the only meal I ate in the hotel. Internet connections were advertised, unfortunately, the connection in my room did not function, reducing my productivity.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Hyatt Place Chicago Schaumburg.
I might recommend it to friends.

Location was perferct for our shopping trip to IKEA and Woodfield Mall area. Very clean, roomy suite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice pool and whirlpool area. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. This will be our choice for our excursions to ...
