Hyatt Place Auburn Hills

After checking out of the hotel I was shocked to find that I was charged an additional $200 on my credit card statement. I phoned the hotel to be told that it was a smoking clean-up fee that the hotel has the right to impose if they "think" someone was smoking in the room. I am not a smoker and explained this to the mgr. He suggested I dispute it with my visa company-did not offer any other options. This is wrong!!

It was a pleasant place to stay. I enjoyed it very much.

This AmeriSuites was being converted over to Hyatt Select and the accommodations were new and beautiful. The staff was extremely friendly and corrected a problem quickly and gave us a discount for the trouble, even though we did not ask. We would highly recommend this location.

This hotel made me feel excited: I was thrilled by the newness of the hotel and the novelty of the plasma screen television.

The reservations agent was very helpful. When we arrived the front desk clerk said that the manager had given away two of our rooms. The fitness and workout room was in need of new equipment.
