We stayed July 'o7. The hotel is under renovation and though all the rooms were finished, the lobby is a mess. There is one narrow hallway for the front desk. The wait was very long for check-in. Apparently it takes 3 front desk employees to check in one person at a time. The elevator broke a few times the following morning so we were climbing stairs. Good thing the place only has 5 floors. The whole lobby area is under construction and closed off. Breakfast was held in a small conference room where it was understaffed and extremely packed. Long wait for breakfast. I complained and all the front desk could say was, "I'm sorry." The rooms are beautiful and complete but it looks like it's going to take awhile before the construction is done. I hope the service will improve. You might want to spend your money somewhere else in the meantime . . .
I am somewhat likely to return to the Hyatt Place Arlington. I might recommend it to friends.
