Hyatt Deerfield North Shore Traveler Review

Nice elements, but not top-notch

This was our 2nd stay. The room looks a bit more spacious in website photos. Small bathroom & sink/closet area. Bumped into bedside table twice - ouch! Somewhat noisy too - loud fan/vent system; we woke up several times to these sounds (perhaps because our room was at the end of the hall?). Lack of microwave dampened our lunch plans. Nice room decor though. Bartender was nice, however the bar is situated right by the lobby in an open floor plan, so patrons are visible to everyone. Bkfst buffet is delicious & nicely priced (the BusinessPlan = $20 more; bkfst for all). High-priced and limited menu kept us from trying other meals. Must drive to Chicago to find good restaurants, ~38 min. (not bad), but movie theatres are very close. The room price is the main draw.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Hyatt Deerfield North Shore.
I might recommend it to friends.
