Huntington Hotel and Nob Hill Spa

The Huntington Hotel is a wonderful large hotel perfectly located at the top of Nob Hill, with great views of the city and Grace Cathedral and the PU Club.

The best part about this hotel is that you get all the luxury and great service of the Fairmont and Mark Hopkins (next door) but with a lower price and much bigger rooms. I know because I did a walkthrough of all of these properties before booking. The spacious room was the real selling point for me.

The Big Four bar and restaurant on the ground floor is a relaxed place to get a drink or dinner, and has lots of history behind it.

I'm a little biased, because I spent my wedding night here, but I can objectively say that the Huntington Hotel is a fantastic place to stay upscale in San Francisco.

Stayed in a suite - it was fabulous. Super comfortable bed, and a huge living room. It is at the top of Nob Hill with a great view. I highly recommend this hotel.
