We found Hunter's Friend on the internet and I almost passed it up. Just the name concerned me as we do not care for the "rustic, outdoorsey" look. But their website is one of the better websites for Branson I have seen.
Curious about the resort we called them and told them we would need lodging for 6. I wanted to make sure the resort also was not a ranch, hunting farm etc. and was assured it would not be.
The owner told us on the phone he would put his condos against anything in Branson and he meant it. For only $125 a night we were still skeptical but decided to try it out for 3 nights.
Were we ever PLEASED when we arrived! They were not kidding when they said they would stand them against anything. The condos are HUGE and completely furnished down to the wine opener! We were just floored. Private lakefront balconies, king sized pillow top beds, granite countertops, 4 seperate televisions, DVD, VHS, free internet, etc. It just went on and on.
In short, we originally scheduled for only 3 nights but extended our stay for an additional 3 nights and if one of our friends did not have to get back, we would have stayed even longer. We have already booked for next years return visit and look forward to staying here again.
To not be completely biased, I will say it was a bit chilly in the pool, but for the time of year it was expected.
