"Featured in the Denver Post, New York Newsday, and the Travel Channel's ""Romantic Inns of America"", the Hunt Placer Inn is a new European chalet-style inn surrounded by trees at the base of Peak 8 mountain. Eight guest rooms, with private baths and decks, are decorated in styles ranging from Old West to Britannia. Three of the rooms have fireplaces. A full breakfast and afternoon refreshment are included daily. The Inn is 2 1/2 blocks from historic Main Street and Riverwalk concerts. The ski lifts are a 2 1/2 minutes away on the free town shuttle."
